Senior Data Analytics Manager - Financial Services

Our client, a leading financial market infrastructure and technology-driven organization, is seeking an experienced Senior Data Analytics Manager to join its growing data transformation team. This is a strategic opportunity for a technology professional with strong data platform and project delivery expertise to play a key role in advancing enterprise-wide data capabilities and governance initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Drive the successful delivery of large-scale data and analytics programmes from planning through implementation and production rollout.
  
• Partner with business stakeholders to gather, evaluate, and prioritize requirements aligned with strategic objectives and risk management considerations.
  
• Lead project governance activities, including timeline management, budgeting, resource planning, issue resolution, and risk tracking.
  
• Enhance enterprise data capabilities across areas such as data governance, metadata management, lineage, quality monitoring, access management, and analytics.
  
• Collaborate with data engineering and architecture teams to ensure scalable and sustainable technology solutions.
  
• Manage relationships with external vendors and implementation partners throughout project lifecycles.
  
• Promote adoption of cloud-native and open-source technologies to strengthen enterprise data management capabilities.
  
• Apply both Agile and traditional project delivery methodologies to support complex technology initiatives.
  
• Support the continuous evolution of enterprise data platforms and data management practices.
  

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline.
  
• At least 6 years of experience in data platforms, analytics, technology project delivery, or IT development, preferably within financial services, banking, capital markets, or other large-scale enterprise environments.
  
• Demonstrated track record of leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex technology programmes.
  
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC) principles, Agile delivery frameworks, and project governance practices.
  
• Hands-on knowledge of data architecture, data modelling, analytics platforms, and visualization technologies.
  
• Good understanding of enterprise data ecosystems and end-to-end technology architectures.
  
• Experience working with data science environments such as JupyterHub or similar analytical workbenches.
  
• Exposure to cloud platforms including AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, or equivalent technologies.
  
• Knowledge of data governance, metadata management, security controls, and lineage solutions, including technologies such as LDAP, OAuth, Keycloak, or OpenMetadata.
  
• Familiarity with industry best practices around data quality, governance frameworks, and information management.
  
• Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and presentation skills.
  
• Professional certifications in Agile, Scrum, PMP, PRINCE2, cloud technologies, or data management would be advantageous.
